Service Dog Training

1 hour 30 minutes • $350 to enroll, then $150 for first and successive lessons

Training a dog to aid a person with a disability by performing specific tasks or do a form of work. A service dog’s trained skills must aid the person with their specific disability. For example, a diabetic alert dog might smell a high blood sugar in their person, nudge them to let them know, and wait for their person to check their blood sugar. Service dogs are not regarded as pets, but as working dogs. Service dogs and their people are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Contact us for additional information.

Off – Leash Training (biking)

1 hour 30 minutes • $150 single client

Some of us also would like to take our pups along for a bicycle ride. Our off-leash biking training is just what you will need

Obedience Hikes – (Hike and Train Session)

1 hour 30 minutes • $150 and minimum 3 clients

We know how much our dogs love to go hiking but most of the time it’s necessary for our dogs to have some training under their belt before they can be trusted off-leash. That’s why when you sign up for any one of our training packages, you become eligible to join us on our group “Obedience Hikes”. Our Hike & Train sessions are only available to clients who have dogs already enrolled in either group or private classes.

Canine Good Citizen Program

1 hour 30 minutes and up • $200.00

The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program, established in 1989, is an American Kennel Club program to promote responsible dog ownership and to encourage the training of well-mannered dogs. A dog and handler team must take a short behavioral evaluation of less than half an hour; dogs who pass the evaluation earn the Canine Good Citizen certificate, which many people represent after the dog’s name, abbreviating it as CGC; for example, “Fido, CGC”. The evaluation consists of ten objectives. All items must be completed satisfactorily or the team fails.
